I grew up in a family that has always worked in healthcare. I watched my father devote himself to it, day after day. That’s how I learned that healthcare isn’t just a job. It’s a promise you make to the people who count on you.
That’s where my passion came from. Not only for care, but for the practices that deliver it. I wanted to help them grow, so I started investing in them. Then I built one of my own.
I started a mental health practice and grew it to more than 20,000 patients. I won’t pretend I got it all right. I made mistakes, plenty of them. Every one taught me something, and we kept iterating until things worked.
What wore us down was never the patients. It was everything around them. Referrals, insurance calls, authorizations, billing follow-ups. My team gave everything they had, and our software just stored data. It didn’t carry any of the weight.
So I built what I wish I’d had. Today Annie handles the intake, the insurance verification, the prior authorizations, and the RCM busywork that eats up your team’s day. That gives you back the time to do what you started your practice for: caring for patients and growing something that lasts.
